
Tomato Complex 2
This is my entry for the 7DRL Challenge 2025 game jam.
It is turn-based, has random generated floors, field of view, permadeath, a savegame system, a leveling system, a fighting system, and some items that can be equipped, drunk or thrown at the enemies.
Warning : if you rely too much on close combat, you will die, as the opponents are tougher than you; instead, throw dangerous potions at them.

last minute bug(s):
> there was too many mouse input bugs, so I removed the mouse controller (you can still click on the buttons, but you will have to use the numpad keys to move the hero or select a target)

You play a tomato hero, who have to explore a cave to rescue his buddy, abducted by evil bananas, in the lower floors of a dark cave.
You can equip swords and there are some potions you can drink or throw at your opponents.

I'm quite proud of myself: this time, I managed to make a working savegame support and though it's a very basic classical roguelike, it could easily become a very complete one, though it really lacks a message system (you have to guess what happened)
...And thanks to this jam, every year I'm getting better at roguelike coding ! ^^
